Letter about Peaches with picture

Let me tell you how this all started. On July 5, 1998, I received my first Scottish Fold kitten from my husband as a pacifier to help me cope with the empty nest syndrome. I was hooked. Folded ears, large eyes, round heads, Scottishfolded all the way.

Delilah was very nice and I decided to step out and hit the feline show scene. Little did I know being a princess was all she wanted. Shows were not for her. But remember, I was hooked. I began researching about the breed heavily and started talking to other breeders. This hobby was filling the need for more furry children and the fun had just begun.

Our name reflects the facts that we are CHRISTIANS and GOD commands us to do everything with HIM in mind; even the breeding, showing and selling of these kittens. My desire is for GOD to receive the glory in this hobby for these kittens are truly a blessing to us and we hope they become a blessing for you as well.

Currently I have a small cattery in the very heart of the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee, easily accessible from Atlanta, Chattanooga, or Knoxville. I am registered with and show in both CFA and TICA. I have a large detached clean cattery where kittens are kept separated from adults until they are fully weaned and vaccinated. This keeps kittens safe and healthy. No one is caged except males, and those are caged only during breeding seasons.

I am proud to say that I have lines from across the country. Catteries such as Sandybears, Foldgently, Huggafold, Wimpl, Tirnalaine, Linanci's, and Urquhart make up my breeding stock of Straight Ears and Folded Ears Scottish Folds.

I use the "legal" outcross of the Scottish folds with the American and British Shorthairs. British shorthair kittens and adults available upon request from time to time. I am striving, as all reputable breeders, to breed kittens which not only fit the CFA and TICA breed standards but which are well adjusted socially around other cats and dogs, as well as adults and children.

I normally have kittens available throughout the year and have both long and shorthairs. All kittens leave my cattery neutered or spayed. My kittens have been wormed and given their first shots and we provide a veterinary health certificate and guarantee. I do not believe in or encourage declawing but as a responsible pet owner, this choice is yours to make. I have a contract which I expect my pet owners to adhere to. I will also ship, weather permitting.
